The Dark Woman, Inspiration: Totally Unique
Design, Affiliation: Jedi Master
Only known as The Dark Woman, her history is shrouded
in mystery. Even though her loyalty is to the Jedi, her teaching methods are
questionably dark in nature. As one of the last surviving Jedi's of light, Darth
Vader sought her out and in fierce combat and overtook the aged Jedi. After
surrendering herself to the Force, Vader took possession of her lightsaber.
Where abouts to this day unknown.

MORE ON THIS LIGHTSABER
This is by far my favorite lightsaber I've brought to the real
world. There was one image from the comic Star Wars Tales: Extinction, that
inspired me to built this lightsaber.
I'm especially proud of this lightsaber I brought into the
real world. This lightsaber was 96% custom sculpted by myself. That includes
the custom crystal on the pommel. The main body and pommel sleve was sculpted
on a wooden dowel using sculpy compound. After it was baked in the oven I pulled
a silicone mold from it and made resin castings. The pommel crystal was made
by taking a wooden egg and dremeling in the detail. It was then heavily clear
coated so the castings would have a smooth, clear, surface. They were pressure
cast in clear resin with tinted dyes added. The emitter is parted together with
washers, lock ring and aluminum pipe. The custom paint work was a six step process
to give it that organic look.

Last year a fellow collector aquired one of a few few of these
and built the Dark Woman costume for his girlfriend. They attended a convention
and LucasFilm happened to be there, and my work can be seen on StarWars.com
